Colleagues,
I want to share two updates to the Workday Oregon Program.
To support the upcoming payroll transformation, I've created a new deputy director role. I'm pleased to announce Jennifer Hannan will step in as Enterprise Workday System Deputy Director starting November 5.
Jennifer Hannan joins us from Enterprise Information Services, where she spent over five years as a Senior IT Portfolio Manager overseeing large technology investments. With more than 30 years in government-including roles at Polk County, the Oregon Judicial Department, Department of Revenue, Employment Department, and EIS-she brings deep experience delivering complex IT solutions. She holds certifications in IT frameworks, project management and organizational change, and is passionate about improving how we work together to serve Oregonians.
Second, to support our operational and transformation work, we have launched the Workday Readiness Team, led by Joanna Robert. DAS introduced Joanna last month.
About the Deputy Director Role
As our work has grown in complexity, so has the need for additional leadership support. The Deputy Director will:
* Partner closely with the Enterprise Workday System Director and division management
* Help streamline decision-making and align operations
* Provide leadership coverage when needed
* Support managers in addressing challenges and moving key initiatives forward
This role is a strategic addition that will help us expand leadership capacity, coordinate across teams and ensure we're well-prepared for both current and future priorities.
The Deputy Director will support current Workday Oregon Program managers and serve as a resource and partner to help us all succeed.
About the Workday Readiness Team
The Workday Readiness Team will focus on three key areas: communications, organizational change management, and learning.
This team will play a vital role in preparing the enterprise for the operational and transformational changes ahead and ensuring smooth and successful implementations.
The Workday Readiness Team consists of the following seven team members:
* Joanna Robert, Business Manager 3, Payroll Transformation Enterprise Readiness Manager
* Andi Clemens, Learning and Development Specialist 2
* Rhonda Bachmann, Operations and Policy Analyst 4
* Terry Svay, Public Affairs Specialist 2
* Unfilled, Learning and Development Specialist 2
* Unfilled, Learning and Development Specialist 1
* Unfilled, Operations and Policy Analyst 4
Thank you for supporting our efforts as we move forward with the important work of the Workday Oregon Program.
Please feel free to share this message with your teams as well.
Best,
Renee
