control screens have been updated with the three control tiers for the LA

there can be no LA entry for any settled benefit package (including management
service and classified unrepresented) until the obligation loads

over the weekend for executive, management service, classified unrepresented and
all represented groups for which a contract has been ratified and signed.
Furlough obligations will be computed according to the rules defined by DAS HRSD
and/or the collective bargaining agreement. OSPS will also compute
furlough obligations for non-executive branch agencies according to their
specifications. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

October 12. When the system comes up Tuesday morning, furlough
obligations will be displayed on the P430/435 leave screens. Any
furlough used in September will be immediately deducted from the obligation

excluded from the automated calculation of furlough obligation. Obligation
will be computed manually at the agency level using rules established by DAS

will be computed using the base rate and FTE information currently present
in PPDB. The document referenced above also provides information on the
requirement to modify the initial part-time calculation using the actual hours
worked by the employee if the employee works more or less than the stated
FTE. See Page 5 in the document linked above.

statements will show the accrued furlough obligation , any furlough taken in
September and an ending balance beginning with November 1 payday. A
furlough disclaimer statement will appear each payday: “<I><SPAN
style="FONT-STYLE: italic">Furlough obligation is projected and subject to
change based on your job status”</SPAN></I>. This is because
obligation balances may need to be manually adjusted for part-time employees,
seasonals and those who promote, demote or whose pay rates change during the
furlough term. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
