<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Cost Directive policy has been eliminated. The Cost Directive which was applicable to management, unclassified and unrepresented employees contained language about furloughs and closures
among other cost-saving measures. Agencies may now revert to statewide human resource policy language, with the exception of the following: Special Merit pay increases for exceptional performance, outlined in State HR Policy 20.005.05 Merit Pay System, continue
to be prohibited until further notice. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
