<p style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">This is a reminder that Exempt W-4 forms expire. Please review this report in WD: PAY | Expiring Exempt Tax Elections. Run this for both Oregon and Federal. Agencies with out of state workers will need to run it for those states

<p style="font-style:inherit;font-weight:inherit">Employees will need to update their W4 in Workday: go to the pay application

<p style="font-style:inherit;font-weight:inherit">By February 1, payroll offices will need to request a new Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate, from each employee who claimed exemption from income tax withholding last year.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="font-style:inherit;font-weight:inherit">On February 16, any Form W-4 entered claiming exemption from withholding has expired and if the employee does not have a new 2023 W-4 in Workday, DAS Workday Payroll will centrally default them to Single for
Federal and Single and zero for State.<o:p></o:p></p>
