Good morning,

You may have noticed a slowdown of e-mails since June. This is partly due to being at home for my husbands recovery from open heart surgery and less to report. I'm happy to report recovery has gone well, so well in fact, we've decided it's time for me to retire effective Sept 1.   

I'm also happy to share with you, Pamella Johnson will be here for you in my absence. If you attended the July training in Portland you got a chance to meet Pamella in person. And yes, we're still planning on getting both CPE and Attendance certificates issued.

I want to say, it's been a pleasure working with all of you. Whether just a short time, for 15 years or in between, you are all great to work with and I'll miss this part of my job. Can't say I'll miss the 60 mile round trip drive. 

I hate good byes.....so this is a 'so long' and hope to stay in touch with many of you. You may even see me show up at a training for lunch! That is if Pamella or Lori let me know when one is scheduled.

Please do not hesitate to contact Pamella with your questions concerning any issues you contacted me with. 

The plan is the contact telephone number will stay the same (503) 603-7633.....wow, just about gave you my cell number! I do love my job and love working with all of you, but not that much! And as a retiree and not having unlimited minutes it could get pricey!

Pamella's e-mail is pamella.johnson at state.or.us and for now her direct number is 503 598-3533. I will be here today until 2:30 and next Monday and Wednesday from 6 am to 9 am and Tuesday from 6 am to 2:30 am as we do a knowledge transfer from my head to Pamella's.
