Just a reminder that you can still register for the upcoming employer
training which will be held in Portland next week. There is no fee for
this event and CPEs will be offered. The registration form is attached.

WHAT:	IRS Employer Training presented by the IRS, the SSA, the Oregon
SSSA, Oregon DOR, and Department of Homeland Security

WHEN:	September 19-20, 2012 (Wednesday and Thursday)

LOCATION:	GSA Auditorium at the 911 Federal Building 
	 	911 NE 11th AV
		Portland OR  97232   (near the Lloyd Center)

TIME:		8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

COST:	There is no charge for this training opportunity

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Parking – there is a parking structure on the east side of NE 11th
AV, directly across the street from the building.

Arrival (security) – arrive early to clear security. You will be
asked to show your driver’s license or other government issued photo
ID such as a passport. If you do not show a Federal Employee badge,
you
will need to proceed through a security screening similar to airport
security. Firearms are not allowed on Federal  property unless you are
a
uniformed officer and currently on duty.

Coffee - A coffee station is open in the morning on the way to the
auditorium. Coffee is also available along with breakfast in the
cafeteria. No food or beverage is allowed in the auditorium. 

Dress in layers – the auditorium can be cool.

Food – Lunch will be on your own. In addition to local restaurants,
the BPA cafeteria is also available.

CPEs are available. Please indicate that you wish to obtain CPEs for
this event on the registration form. You will be asked to sign in and
out for the morning/afternoon sessions to receive certification.
