Good morning Section 218 Employers:

Our federal partners at the IRS have recently rolled out a self-assessment tool for public employers.  Form 14581-E is entitled "Retirement Plan Coverage Compliance Self-Assessment For State and Local Government Entities".

While this is for voluntary use by government entities, you should find it to be educational and a general guide to avoiding common tax issues for public employers.
