</span>Are there processing fees which employers are allowed to collect on garnishments?
<span style="color:red">The employer can charge a processing fee only up to the amount that is allowed on the garnishment. The fee can vary based on who is sending the garnishment. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

</span>Is it necessary for the employee to receive a copy of the employer’s response to a garnishment?
<span style="color:red">Yes, We are looking into the ability to print the response from ROL (that way employers who want to use ROL to do their responses will not have to also fill out a paper copy to give to the employee).

</span>Does DOR “push” vs “pull” from an employer’s account for their payment of STT and other payments they make to Department of Revenue through ROL.
<span style="color:red">For revenue online payments we Pull the payment. (This question was asked because for this employer it was important information for their treasury department.)</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:33.75pt;text-indent:-.25in">4.<span style="font-size:7.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">
</span><span style="color:black">We had questions on whether Union Dues and Health Insurance Premiums are Mandatory or Non Mandatory deductions for Garnishment purposes</span><span style="color:red">. Sadly we cannot give an answer on this and it is best to
consult your entity’s department which can give legal advice.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

</span>We had questions around employer paid items and if they are subject to STT.
<span style="color:red">These items are added to wages and subject to the other taxes, therefore yes they are subject to STT. The only things that are not subject are Pre Taxed Deductions.
