OSTX Enhancements Available August 16
New enhancements to the Oregon Student Record Transfer Exchange (OSTX) application were released August 16.  These enhancements, developed based on user feedback, are intended to improve the usability and functionality of the application.

Reinstatement of 10-day Rule
Schools are required to send data to a requesting school within ten days.  With this functionality, if the request is not approved or rejected, data will be made available to the requesting school after the passage of ten business days.

Expanded Email Functionality
Any change in approval status will generate an email to all users who have an approver or requestor role for that student.  For example, if a View Student Detail request is approved or rejected, or the 10-day rule is applied allowing access, an email will be sent to all appropriate users.

New Data Elements Added to Student Summary
The Enrollment Summary section under the Student Summary>Registration Record tab will now display the school phone number.

New Tabs Under Student Information Tab
New tabs listed under Student Information include:

 *   SPED (Special Education);
 *   LEP (Limited English Proficiency);
 *   Test Administration; and
 *   Test Scores.

Changes to History Screen and History Tab
Contact details have been added for both requesting and approving users.

Changes to Approval Tab
The history on the Approval tab will now display a 30-day history.

Additional enhancements are planned to increase the functionality of the application.  We will notify users as these enhancements are released.
