<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">This is one of the few existing studies on public library summer reading programs and their impact on student achievement. It was conducted by
the the Graduate School of Library & Information Science at Dominican University in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University Center for Summer Learning and was funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).<br>

This study includes results, of course, and recommendations to public libraries for increases the impact their summer reading program has on children and teens.<br>
