<p><strong><span style="font-size:15.0pt">Perry Memorial Library is seeking a Youth Services Librarian.</span></strong><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution and a minimum of one year of library experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p><strong>DUTIES:</strong> The youth services librarian is responsible for the youth services department. Duties include planning and implementing programming for children and teens; collection development of children’s, juvenile, and young adult materials
(includes selection, budget, and collection maintenance); managing daily operations of the youth services department; supervising youth services staff; participating in library management and public services teams; providing reference and computer assistance
to patrons. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, some nights and weekends.<o:p></o:p></p>
