<p class="MsoNormal">Surveying the teens to see what is of most interest to them is an excellent approach!  If there’s room on your survey, you might also ask the teens if they have mastered any particular life skills that they would like to teach to their
 peers by leading or co-leading a program.  Another thing to consider to maximize appeal for teens is terminology.  Lots of other libraries are offering these kinds of programs under the name “life hacks.”  If you Google “teen library program life hacks” you
 can see what some other libraries are doing.  <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Lastly, you will want to think about what outcomes you’re trying to achieve for the teens, and this might vary by program.  Building these into your planning will help you measure the impact of your effort.  Here are some outcomes resources:<o:p></o:p></p>
