in draft form as we wait for information on new library districts in Douglas County –woohoo! – but we will have 2019 Ready to Read applications up this month on the State Library website. I know, you’re all just dying to fill those out RIGHT NOW.

<p class="MsoNormal">To prepare for presenting to the Early Learning Council, I went through the
<a href="https://www.oregon.gov/ode/students-and-family/FullDayK/Documents/ODE_EarlyLearningStandards_final.pdf">
Early Learning Guidelines</a> and was able to list an example for <b>EVERY.SINGLE.GUIDELINE
</b>from an Oregon library doing that very thing to build literacy. My takeaway: You are doing critically important, foundational work for our youngest learners - Thank you.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>
