Apollo 50<sup>th</sup> Challenge. Each team will design a lunar module, use a drone to correctly place it on “the moon,” and then program a robot to complete a set of challenges to explore the “lunar surface.” The statewide challenge will be on July 20, 2019
in Dallas, Oregon, and the deadline to register teams is March 31<sup>st</sup>. Registration is free, no experience is necessary, there will be three opportunities and a stipend for coaches to receive training, and a free or discounted drone and robot are
available to teams with a demonstrated need. Teams must be affiliated with an organization such as a school, library, museum, after-school program, or club. More details are in the email and PDF brochure linked below. Please share this information with staff
