<i>Oregon Blue Book</i> essay contest with elementary and middle school students. The essays are more like paragraphs, with a word count of 100 to 250 words. Entries are due October 22<sup>nd</sup>, and

library staff or a teacher for their favorite nominee by May 1, 2021. The <a href="https://www.oregonread.org/projects-and-grants/patricia-gallagher-awards">

we will celebrate the 100<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the opening of Oregon’s first state park. The
<i>2021–2022 Oregon Blue Book </i>will celebrate it and all of Oregon’s state parks.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
