The Editor of <i>Library Journal</i> has asked state librarians to promote a new website that is intended to call attention to problems with public library funding across the country. The site is still a work in progress, but <i>LJ</i> would like public library directors to post information to the site about budget cuts, service reductions, layoffs and furloughs, etc. Here is the link to the site:<br>

Click on the "report cuts" button to send in a report. When I went there today the 2010 map was not loading. I hope this gets fixed soon. <i>Library Journal</i> wants to promote this heavily in a few months.<br>
