Hello again Oregon public library directors,

This is just a quick update to let you know I am working diligently with several of our colleagues around the state (and with our vendor) to get the online survey tool ready for you to start your
2020 statistical reporting. Over the next several days, I plan to do a staggered opening of the tool, so some of you may have access as early as Monday, August 3.

I will send you each an email directly with login information and general instructions, and once you receive that email you’ll be able to begin entering your library’s data into the survey tool (and if you had additional staff submit last
year’s report, they’ll be cc’d). We are also mailing out a physical letter to you with the same information later this month. Once again, the deadline to submit your report this year isn’t until October 31.

Thanks so much for your patience this year as we work on incremental improvements, and if you have any questions please reach out to me via email.
