A fully engaging skill-based training for teachers and health educators.



About

The F.L.A.S.H. Training of Trainers (TOT) will provide highly experienced trainers the in-depth experience needed to deliver the critical foundation and skills necessary to implement a successful F.L.A.S.H. program. Participants will complete three intense days of skill-based, interactive training and become eligible to qualify as a Certified F.L.A.S.H. trainer and join a select cadre.



Trainers

Trainers will include three of the program's authors, Beth Reis, Andrea Gerber, and Kari Kesler.



Who Should Attend

Highly experienced trainers who train health educators. Agencies and districts are encouraged to send health education leaders.



Fees

$2,250.00 (includes 3 nights lodging, plus breakfast and lunch each day of the training)

F.L.A.S.H.

Family Life and Sexual Health (F.L.A.S.H.) is a science-based comprehensive sexuality education curriculum that has been adopted and widely used by school districts thoughout the United States and Canada. It affirms abstinence as the safest way to avoid pregnancy and STDs and teaches skills for successfully abstaining. It affirms risk-reduction and teaches skills for successfully using condoms and other disease- and pregnancy-prevention methods. It addresses sexual exploitation, including child sexual abuse, sexual and anti-gay harassment, and dating violence. It fosters family communication and teaches students how to access help when they need it.
