that was developed with our internal agency Project Review Team (pre-Institutional Review Board [IRB]) and our sub-awardees (attached in English and Spanish). However, we do have differing guidelines and best practices based on cohort demographics.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#1F497D">We give out consent forms to each student and our sub-awardees often provide incentives upon the form’s return. Our Project Review Team suggested that consent forms be collected before participant participation
in the Exit Survey.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Review Team to explore best practices in obtaining consent forms from adjudicated youth who may not have access to their parents during program facilitation. These two main suggestions emerged:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#1F497D">As of yet, we have not knowingly served a group of homeless youth, so I cannot speak to what we have done specifically. Homeless youth is often considered a vulnerable population and my professional
opinion is to seek out a local IRB (often found at local universities or research institutions) to discuss consent options if you have not already.
