wellbeing. Managed soundly, they can produce sustainable flows of many benefits
– clean water, jobs, forest products, wildlife habitat, recreation

planning must take a long view, as the wisdom of the decisions we make today
will be measured across decades. And it must acknowledge the diversity of our
forests – their various types and conditions, and the differing

strategic planning, with its <i>Forestry Program for</i> <i>Oregon. </i>We are
now revising this document, and I invite your participation. A public comment
