<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">Many of you requested that I send out a reminder about what statistics you will be asked to report on the 2014 summer reading statistics and ordering survey so you can be sure you’re
collecting the right data this summer. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">Attached is a blank copy of the statistics and ordering survey so you know what all the questions are in advance. You may want to print this and fill it out as you go along so you
have all the information at your finger tips when you complete the online survey this fall. The link to the survey will be emailed out in September on this listserv to ensure that library directors are kept informed and that only one person fills out the
survey per library. The result of the 2014 summer reading statistics and ordering survey will be compiled into the 5<sup>th</sup>
<a href="http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/oregon.srp.certificate.aspx#Oregon_Summer_Reading_Briefs">
Annual Summer Reading Brief</a>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">Please keep in mind that Oregon libraries are at liberty to implement the summer reading program in whatever way works best for their communities therefore libraries may not track
all of these statistics—that’s okay, you don’t have to report on anything you don’t do.
