Coos Bay Book Club</a> focus on housing – I’m reading Matthew Desmond’s newest book,
<i>Poverty by America</i>, right now. I highly recommend it as a way into being grounded and committed to the work we do ensuring access and equity in our communities. This book was highlighted at this year’s National Book Festival. You can see a Library of
Congress <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/qdyvrLibYYc?feature=shared">interview with the author here</a> (it starts about 5:45, but don’t miss Dr. Carla Hayden’s Book Festival Intro a few minutes earlier!)
