Hi gang,
The Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy (CLEL) is getting ready for their first Bell Awards<http://www.clel.org/content/bell-awards>.. they will be awarding a picture book that support early literacy interaction in each of the categories:
1) Read
2) Talk
3) Sing
4) Write
5) Play
This group of usual suspects should look familiar to all Every Child Ready to Read folks out there. The awards will happen next February.
In the meantime, last Friday they announced their Silver Bells... these are books published within the last 25 years that represent what they're going for: http://www.clel.org/content/bell-awards-silver-bells
There are some wonderful books on the list. Definitely worth taking a look at, if you aren't already familiar with them.
Best wishes,
