[RFHF] FW: Resource: Early literacy posters and booklist to download at no cost

ALA's Association for Library Services to Children just launched Babies Need Words Every Day: Talk, Read, Sing, Play<http://www.ala.org/alsc/babiesneedwords> materials that are available free to download and print. Eight different posters each have a beautiful illustration, short rhyme or poem, and one or two sentences of information for caregivers. Currently there are only English materials, but Spanish is coming soon! They are available in 11x17 and 22x28. The posters would be great to hang by the changing tables!

There is also a great booklist you can download and print for free. You might use this list to select books for your early literacy education sessions for parents/caregivers and Every Child Ready to Read Standardized Trainings.
