The Washington State Library is hiring someone who will be responsible for planning and implementing statewide early learning initiatives on youth services projects within Library Development at the Washington State Library.

If you are knowledgeable about early learning and libraries, and want to have impact on a state or national level, consider applying for this position. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate that they are focused on doing the best job possible to make children and their families' lives better through library services. This individual will be supported with continuing education opportunities so that their skills and knowledge remain cutting edge.

Olympia is a vibrate community with attractive shops, restaurants and theater. Natural recreation opportunities abound, but if you need a big city fix, Seattle, depending on traffic, is an hour to 90 minute drive away.

The job closes on 8/17/2016.
