The National Archives and Records Administration is hiring a Director of the Exhibits and Visitor Services Office. This opportunity is currently open and I wanted to share it with you to see if you could share it with your networks.

Salary: $163,964 - $191,900 per year
The National Archives and Records Administration is hiring a Director of the Exhibits and Visitor Services Office located in Washington, DC. The incumbent will be responsible for the direction and implementation of a nationwide non-partisan program for exhibits and visitor services components of the National Archives.
As a Director of the Exhibits and Visitor Services Office, you will:
* Oversee all aspects of the museum at the National Archives operations in Washington, DC, the most visited facility in the NARA system, including the development of non-partisan content for exhibitions and related visitor services programs.
* Ensure the continuing intellectual and physical integrity of the exhibits, the general visitor spaces of the National Archives Building in Washington, DC: the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom, NARA's permanent galleries, and the Lawrence F. O'Brien Gallery, as well as the Learning Center.
* Manage the exhibit programs in the field offices of the National Archives, most particularly the exhibit galleries of the National Archives in New York and the National Archives in Kansas City.
* Oversee the development of contracts for exhibition and publications developments, design and production, including consultant and technical services from concept to installation.
* Oversee the development and implementation of the visitor services, volunteer, and internship programs in support of the museum program at the National Archives.
