[Sbot_mailing_list] Reminder from DMV - AND - State Board of Towing Work Session - April 23 2024

First - A reminder from DMV:

DMV updated its Abandoned Vehicle Certificate (735-0271)<https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Forms/DMV/271fill.pdf> in March 2024. Please use the updated form.
Companies using previous versions of Abandoned Vehicle Certificate (735-0271)<https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Forms/DMV/271fill.pdf>  will have towed vehicles and forms rejected at the dismantling yards.
The Board has no role in DMV processes and forms, but would like to remind all tow companies to regularly review their forms and processes to remain current and in compliance with the DMV requirements.
Any questions related to the Abandoned Vehicle Certificate (735-0271)<https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Forms/DMV/271fill.pdf> or other DMV forms should be directed to DMV.


Second - April 23, 2024 Work Session
The State Board of Towing will host a work session tomorrow, April 23, 2024.
The purpose of the work session is to identify compliance issues, and define the ORSs assigned to the Board to administer.
The public is welcome to attend.
