The State Board of Towing is holding a special public meeting on June 25th to discuss the attached proposed State Board of Towing private property impound (PPI) public policies.

The attached are proposed policies only meant for discussion purposes; the Board members have not yet voted on adopting any of the policies.

The available time for public comment on June 25th may be limited - if you would like to submit written testimony or comments, please submit those by June 24th, 3:00 p.m.

Please feel free to let me know if any of the proposed policies are unclear; the policies are meant to provide guidelines for PPI practices (and not meant to micro-manage the towing industry). It would be useful to identify any ambiguity or need for clarification prior to discussion or adoption of the policies.  Once the policies are adopted, the Board will conduct an outreach and education campaign regarding the policies, expectations, and next steps.

The Board's office will be closed Wednesday - Friday this week; calls and emails will be returned as soon as possible next week.
