RE:  IDEA Part B Section 611 Base Grant Award Estimates for 2010-2011

Please find attached a spreadsheet that estimates your total IDEA Part B Section 611 Base Grant Award for 2010-2011.  Included in the spreadsheet are the net estimated first and second payments to your district, the proportionate share of IDEA funds that must be allocated to serve parentally placed private school students and the estimated 15% for Coordinated Early Intervening Services, where applicable to your district.

Please note that the estimates are based on figures taken from the United States Department of Education budget tables, most recently updated on March 10, 2010.  We are not able to provide you with final award amounts until March of 2011 after new data is provided to our office to run the final formula.  Traditionally, our estimates have very closely approximated the final award amount.

It is important to note that there are no new ARRA IDEA Part B Section 611 funds allocated for 2010-2011.
