RE:  IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT IDEA PROPOSED CHANGES RELATIVE TO MEDICAID FUNDING

In today's Federal Register is the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for the change to the Part B regulations having to do with parental consent to access Medicaid for services. It is very important that states and LEAs respond to this regulation as many LEAs are apparently having difficulty accessing Medicaid to pay for services for students with disabilities. Please consider submitting comments. This is an important change. (If you don't like it, it's ok to make suggestions about how to change it). Here is the link to the notice:
