RE: Cyberbullying - Part II of ODE WebEx Series

On April 4th, from 2-3:30, The Oregon Department of Education will host Part II of a three-part series on Bullying that began in March with an Overview of Bullying and Guidance for its Prevention. Part II will address Cyber-Bullying, and Part III will address Response to Bullying through the use of SWPBIS, Social-Emotional Learning Curricula and by addressing School Climate and Culture.

Mark your calendars! The ever-present and increasing concerns regarding bullying is a serious matter and these webinars are designed to inform you of the nature of the problem, its prevalence and associated concerns. The WebEx will further offer practical solutions to assist with prevention and response to bullying or intimidation, cyber-bullying and harassment.

For further information, contact Michael Mahoney, Safe Schools Coordinator, at michael.mahoney at state.or.us<mailto:michael.mahoney at state.or.us> or 503-947-5628.
