2012 Governor's Summit
Reducing Disproportionate Minority Contact in the Juvenile Justice System
On November 1 and 2, 2012 the Governor is sponsoring the 2012 Governor's Summit on Reducing Disproportionate Minority Contact in the Juvenile Justice System titled, "Taking Action for Justice and Fairness through Commitment, Collaboration, Data and Accountability." Among the different strands, there will be a strand on education to create an action plan to help eliminate the emergence of the Pipeline to Prison in the K-12 educational system and to promote equitable education for all students. School administrators, educators, school resource officers, counselors, and others are invited to participate.

Ø Comments by First Lady of Oregon Cylvia Hayes
Ø 1-day Youth Summit
Ø Youth Adult Perspectives
Ø Minority YOUTH Award Presentations
Ø Network and Workgroup Action Planning
