RE:  Public Release of the 2011-2012 Special Education Report Cards


The public release date for the annual Special Education Report Cards is Wednesday, April 3, 2013.  In preparation for this release, please review the following timeline and documents that may assist you with this required public reporting.

Timeline
April 1:  Final Special Education Report Cards Available to Districts and Programs
Final versions of the 2011-2012 Special Education Report Cards are now available to districts and programs on the secure district site:  https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/.   Once you have logged in, use the Report Card/ Accountability Reports application.  Click on the Special Education Report Card in the drop-down menu in order to view your English and Spanish pdfs.

April 3:  Public Release of the 2010-2011 Special Education Report Cards
All district and program report cards will be available to the public on the ODE website
at http://www.ode.state.or.us/data/ReportCard/sped/.  ODE will issue a news release announcing the public reports.

May 20:  Deadline for Distribution of the Special Education Report Cards
All districts and programs are required to distribute the report cards by May 20, 2013.

Technical Assistance Documents
The 2011-2012 Special Education Report Cards and Technical Assistance Documents including distribution information, the English and Spanish Notes for the Special Education Reports, and the Technical Manuals are posted at the link:   http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?=1831
