ODE is currently recruiting for a Common Core Communications Coordinator, and we wanted to share the highlights of this position and request your assistance in forwarding this on to qualified applicants.

Position Overview:
The person in this position is responsible for coordinating communications efforts related to the Common Core State Standards. This coordination is done in conjunction with the Communications Director, the Common Core Lead, and the Assessment Communications Coordinator. The person in this position is responsible for responding to common core constituent questions; creating common core related communications plans; coordination of the college and career ready coalition; creation of common core talking points, resources, and documents; and improving systems of common core related communications. In addition, this position provides general communications support to the ODE communications director including serving as media back up and assisting with general agency communications needs. This position has the authority to represent department positions to the news media and other audiences in collaboration with the Communications Director.

Compensation:
$56,364.00 - $82,620.00 Annually
