There are still many districts that still have not addressed their audits. To see if your district has audits: 1. Log into Consolidated Collections, then hover your mouse over 'Student Collections' - 'Discipline Incidents 14-15 Review' - 'Error Management' - 'Review Audits'. 2. If you have audits, click on 'Review' and address each audit comment. 3. After the audit has been addressed, check the box next to the audit and select the confirm button. 4. Your district is not finished with their Discipline Incidents submission until all audits are addressed and cleared. We will begin calling districts that still have audits this week. If you are not responsible for discipline data at your district, please forward this message to staff that does report discipline data. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Brown Message-ID: TO: All District and ESD Special Education Directors The message below is being sent to you on behalf of: Sarah Drinkwater, Ph.D. Assistant Superintendent Office of Learning/Student Services ______________________________________________ September 29, 2015 A proposed settlement has been reached in the Lane v. Brown case regarding sheltered workshops and transition-aged youth/adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. If you have had a chance to review the agreement, you see the importance of collaborative work between ODE and the Department of Human Services in providing pre-employment opportunities in community settings for students with disabilities in transition programs. Attached you will find a document summarizing the settlement proposal, that will provide us with a common understanding of the agreement as we move forward with communication and implementation. A Spanish version of both attached documents will be available shortly. Please let me know if you have questions or comments. The full text of the agreement is posted on the website below as well as the ODE transition website: http://www.oregon.gov/dhs/employment/employment-first/Documents/LaneFullyExecutedSA090315.pdf Thank you for your support of Oregon's students.
