RE: Extended Assessment Sub Grants

The funding for the Extended Assessment sub grants for this school year is in process.  These are going out early enough so you should have adequate time to use the funds as they are designated. Per review of prior years' district and ESD claims and in light of current budget constraints, the dollar amount used in calculating the total of each Extended Assessment sub grant available to districts and ESDs was reduced from $900 to approximately $550 (cf. attached Allocations Formula). The Extended Assessment sub grants are to be utilized to maintain and support your capacity to assess students with disabilities.
The grant notification has been sent to your superintendent and/or business manager.  The grant manager for the Extended Assessment sub grants is Brad Lenhardt.
