Assistant Superintendent Office of Student Services ______________________________________________ January 10, 2019 The following is a revision of the timeline for Consolidated Plan Reviews in order to accurately populate District Annual Determinations (CFR 300.600). The information districts submit in their consolidated plan is used to determine the status of indicators B9, 10, 11, & 13 in the Annual Determinations each district receives June 30th each year. Due to the timeline in which states are to provide annual determinations, final review of Indicators B9, 10, 11 & 13 will need to be completed by June 1 (instead of June 30). We apologize for any inconvenience this date change may cause for districts. Therefore, allowing for the possibility that a district(s) may need to resubmit plans, the review timeline for Indicators B9, 10, 11 & 13 is as follows: * May 1 : Deadline for districts initial submission of their plans for Indicators B9, 10, 11 & 13 via the SPR&I dashboard * May 15: Deadline for applicable districts to resubmit their plan(s) via the SPR&I dashboard * June 1 : Deadline for ODE review and approval of all plan(s) for Indicators B9, 10, 11 & 13 Please note: The deadline for the initial submission of plans related to the remaining Indicators (B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 14) remains as June 30, 2019. The services sought by this RFGP are for participation in the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Youth Transition Program (YTP). The YTP is a partnership that facilitates the provision of a comprehensive array of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and Core YTP Services that prepare high school Students with Disabilities for employment or career-related post-secondary education or training. It further states that "local educational agencies (districts) exceeding the 1% cap shall submit information to the State educational agency justifying the need to exceed such cap." Districts projected to exceed the 1% cap can be found at Districts 1% participation rate by subject areas (ELA, Math, and Science) and eligibility codes.
