<p><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Please
utilize the excel spreadsheet above to access information on your
IDEA estimates for 2009-2010. The columns that represent the estimated amounts
that flow to your district are entitled 'total net to LEA'.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p style='margin-left:.5in'><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>1) You will soon receive sub grant notification for
the first 50% of your IDEA stimulus fund allocation. When you receive this, you
will be able to access the funds through the Electronic Grants Management
System (EGMS) at ODE.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p style='margin-left:.5in'><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>2) All IDEA stimulus funds are considered an 09-10
allocation and must be accounted for as such. We are discussing the possibility
of setting up a separate code in the State Accounting System, but for now
please set up a separate revenue/expense account for tracking these funds
separately from your IDEA base allocation. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p style='margin-left:.5in'><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>3) First payment for IDEA base allocation and second
payment for stimulus funds will be accessible to you on October 1, 2009.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p style='margin-left:.5in'><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>4) 85% of your stimulus funds must be obligated by
September 30, 2010, and the remaining 15% by September 30, 2011.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p style='margin-left:.5in'><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>5) For guidance on how to spend IDEA stimulus funds,
please refer to the March 17, 2009 list serve message issued by Dr. Latini.
