<div style="text-align: justify; "><font size="2">The <b>public release date</b> for the fourth annual <b>Special Education Reports</b> is Wednesday <b>March 31, 2010</b>. In preparation for that date, I want to inform you of timelines and documents that may
assist you with this required public reporting.</font></div>

<div><font size="2"><u>Timeline</u></font></div>
<div><font size="2"><b>March 9 – March 17: District Preview </b></font></div>
<div><font size="2">Drafts of the 2008-2009 Special Education Reports will be posted on the secure district site for your preview: <a href="https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/"><font color="#0000FF"><u>https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/</u></font></a>.
ODE expects each district to proof its district report and either “Accept” or “Appeal” the report. </font></div>
<div><font face="Calibri, sans-serif" size="2" color="#FF0000"> </font></div>
<div><font size="2">If there are errors, ODE will expect the district to click on the “Appeal” button and provide<font color="#FF0000"> </font>the details of the correction(s) that the district is suggesting. However, please be advised that ODE will not change
any data that have been submitted and previously validated by the district. </font></div>
<div><font face="Calibri, sans-serif" size="2"> </font></div>
<div><font size="2"><b>March 29: Final Special Education Reports Available to Districts</b></font></div>
<div><font size="2">Final pdf versions of the 2008-2009 Special Education Reports will be available to districts on the secure district site: <a href="https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/"><font color="#0000FF"><u>https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/login/</u></font></a>.
No changes will be accepted <u>on or after</u> this date. </font></div>

<div><font size="2"><b>March 31: Public Release of the 2008-2009 Special Education Report</b></font></div>
<div><font size="2">All district reports will be available to the public on the ODE website. ODE will send a press release to the media announcing the public reports. </font></div>
