<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Good news – I just signed off on your enhancement grants and extended assessment grants for this school year. I apologize for the delay but wanted to see if I could increase the grants at all. The extended assessment grants are flat funded and the enhancement grants have a 3% increase. These enhancement grants, as you know, are for the support and guidance for students with disabilities and are allowed for a variety of purposes such as professional development in various formats, RTI, PBIS, etc. Please utilize the funds to the best of your ability. I won’t belabor the 38 districts or ESDs that didn’t spend their funds; but will celebrate 179 that spent most or all of theirs. Support to staff and our students is critical and I know you will consider these funds for those purposes. The grant manager for both will be Dianna Carrizales. Your notification should reach you, your superintendent and/or business manager shortly. Watch for them!! Have a great week.
