Community Capacity Building Funds

Through Oregon's current 1115 Medicaid waiver<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/HSD/Medicaid-Policy/Pages/Waiver-Renewal.aspx>, the state will be able to cover new services for Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members called health-related social needs (HRSNs). Oregon has been approved to spend up to $119 million in community capacity building funds (CCBF), specifically to support investments to enable partners to provide these HRSN services:



  *   Climate-related resources (March 2024) [included in our attached agenda for next week]
  *   Housing supports (November 2024)
  *   Nutritional services (January 2025)
  *   Outreach and engagement (March 2024)
