This morning, Governor Kotek sent out a press release<https://mailchi.mp/oregon/trump-administration-notifies-states-that-snap-benefits-not-coming-in-november?e=b881567993> about the federal government shutdown and the impact to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for November. Follow up information will be coming from ODHS in the coming days.

You and your organization are invited to the upcoming ODHS community partner webinar that will be held this Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10AM. This webinar will focus on updates to SNAP November benefits related to the federal government shutdown. Details for this webinar can be found below in English and Spanish.

What to expect:

  *   This webinar will be recorded.
  *   All participant microphones will be muted.
  *   There will be an option to submit written questions.

  *   Spanish language and ASL Interpretation along with Real-time captioning (CART) will be available.

  *   Large print
