30, 2023 to avoid a partial federal government shutdown. Without agreement, federal government funding expires Oct. 1. The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is monitoring the situation and preparing for a possible shutdown. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:16.8pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#242424">This news is concerning for all of us that provide services to people in Oregon and the families who depend on
our supports and services. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:16.8pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#242424">As Congress works to approve a budget, here’s what partners should know. Please share this information with the
people you serve who may have questions and fears about the potential federal government shutdown: <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">People <b>will receive their regular October medical, food, cash and child care benefits</b> on time and just like they normally do. <b>They do not need to do anything extra to get these benefits.</b> <o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#242424;mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;background:white">
