<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR NORTHEAST FORECAST AREA ZONES 630-638</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Precipitation from an approaching Pacific weather system will spread rainfall eastward during the day today. Significant rain should hold off until afternoon. Snow levels should remain above about 5500 feet. Tightening pressure
gradients will bring breezy winds to most of the region this afternoon and tonight. Mixing heights will be favorable for good smoke dispersal. Transport winds will be generally southerly to southwesterly. </div>

<div style="padding-left: 72pt; ">Transport wind SSW to SW at 12 - 22 mph during the morning. Transport wind increases to SW to WSW at 14 - 28 mph during the afternoon then decreases to WSW to W at 10 - 22 mph during the evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 72pt; ">Surface wind SSE to SSW at 8 - 14 mph during the morning. Surface wind shifts to WSW to WNW at 8 - 12 mph during the afternoon then becomes light and variable and controlled by local terrain during the evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 72pt; ">Mixing height above 5000 ft during the morning. Mixing height lowers to 3700 - 4700 ft during the afternoon and below 1000 ft during the evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 72pt; ">Avoid ignitions within 10 miles to the SSW through W of SSRAs. For units that will smolder significantly through the night avoid burning within at least 10 miles to the SSW through NW in or near drainages leading to SSRAs.
No additional restrictions necessary. </div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Zone 633 - 638:</div>
<div style="padding-left: 72pt; ">Avoid ignitions within 12 miles to the S through W of SSRAs. For units that will smolder significantly through the night avoid burning within at least 12 miles to the S through NW in or near drainages leading to SSRAs. No
additional restrictions necessary. </div>
