<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON ZONES 624 AND 625</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Tuesday’s upper ridge axis shifts east and an upper trough moves mainly into British Columbia and Washington on Wednesday. The trailing cold front is rather weak since most of its support well to the north. Thus it should
dissipate before reaching the region. </div>

<div> OUTLOOK (THURSDAY-SATURDAY)</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Another upper ridge builds over the area for dry weather and light winds Wednesday. The ridge axis aloft shifts slightly east and another very weak front spreads some light rain to northwest Oregon by Friday evening. It is
unlikely that any rain will make it into south-central Oregon, however. Expect another upper ridge Saturday. There is some evidence of a pattern change beginning Sunday or early next week that could bring more storminess to the area. </div>

<div>Mixing height 2800 - 3800 ft during the morning. Mixing height rises above 5000 ft during the afternoon then lowers below 1000 ft during the evening.</div>

<div>Transport wind SSW to WSW at 9 - 15 mph during the morning. Transport wind shifts to WSW to WNW at 10 - 20 mph during the afternoon and evening.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Surface wind SSW to SW at 8 - 12 mph during the morning. Surface wind shifts to WSW to WNW at 9 - 15 mph during the afternoon then becomes light and variable and controlled by local terrain during the evening.</div>

<div>Mixing height 1100 - 2100 ft during the morning rising to 2700 - 3700 ft during the afternoon. Transport wind N to NE at 6 - 10 mph. Surface wind light and variable during the morning becoming N to NE at 6 - 12 mph during the afternoon.</div>
