<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR NORTHEAST FORECAST AREA ZONES 630-638</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Cold front and upper level low are moving through this afternoon and will give way to a ridge tomorrow. Air mass will remain quite cool aloft so expect little stabilization until tomorrow evening. Clouds will dissipate tomorrow,
giving way to clearing skies. Expect mostly fair to good smoke dispersion.</div>

<div> OUTLOOK (SUNDAY - TUESDAY):</div>
<div> </div>
<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Upper level ridge slides to the east by Sunday with increasing clouds from a warm front overrunning the ridge. Moisture is not expected however. Air mass will continue to stabilize. Upper level trough in the eastern Pacific
will slowly develop and move toward the region through Monday and Tuesday. Southerly wind flow will increase during the period, so even though the air mass will be fairly stable, smoke dispersion should be at least fair.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Mixing height above 5000 ft during the morning and afternoon. Mixing height lowers below 1000 ft during the evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Transport wind WNW to NNW at 6 - 10 mph during the morning. Transport wind shifts to SW to W at 5 - 9 mph during the afternoon and evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Surface wind W to NNW at 4 - 8 mph during the morning. Surface wind becomes light and variable and controlled by local terrain during the afternoon then increases to SSE to SW at 4 - 8 mph during the evening.</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">Avoid ignitions within 12 miles to the S through NNW of SSRAs. For units that will smolder significantly through the night avoid burning within at least 20 miles to the S through NNW in or near drainages leading to SSRAs.
Verify transport winds away from SSRAs if burning in any other direction. Watch for shifting transport winds. Complete ignitions by 3 p.m. </div>
