Washington and Oregon. The center of an embedded upper-level disturbance will
move over southwestern Oregon early in the morning and slowly progress
eastward, to over southeastern Oregon, by evening. Scattered showers will
continue with a chance of thundershowers, especially across the eastern zones.
High temperatures will cool another 5-10 degrees, from Saturday, with generally
northwesterly transport winds. Cool low-level onshore flow, considerable clouds,
and showers will combine to produce only marginal mixing heights for late
spring.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

over western Oregon Monday and drift eastward, to over eastern Oregon, on
Tuesday. Showers will taper off Monday, from west to east, with progressively
more sunshine helping temperatures recover to near normal by Tuesday.
Transport winds will decrease Monday and perhaps become light southerly by
Tuesday. A weak upper-level trough will bring increasing southwesterly flow
aloft on Wednesday. Temperatures will hold near normal with an increasing
threat of showers or thunderstorms, by late in the day, from west to east
across the region. High afternoon mixing heights are expected during the outlook
period.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
