font-family:"Courier New"'>High pressure remains over the region for fair skies
and warm temperatures and relatively light winds aloft. The high is centered
to the south of the Pacific Northwest and to the west, over the ocean, flow is
southwesterly. Full sunshine will give warm afternoon temperatures which will
push mixing heights high enough for generally good smoke dispersal conditions. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"'>
EXTENDED OUTLOOK (WEDNESDAY – THURSDAY) <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Courier New"'>The ridge aloft builds Wednesday and mixing heights
will decrease somewhat. Smoke dispersal conditions remain fair to good,
however. On Thursday a disturbance embedded in the southwesterly flow aloft
offshore turns higher level winds more southwesterly. This should have little
effect on weather in northeast Oregon. By Friday the disturbance is in Canada.
High pressure remains over the region for fair skies and above average
temperatures. </span><span style='font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Courier New"'><o:p></o:p></span></p>

ignitions within 15 miles to the NW through NE of SSRAs. For units that will
smolder significantly through the night avoid burning within at least 30 miles
to the NW through E in or near drainages leading to SSRAs. Recommend against
burning units that will smolder significantly overnight. Complete ignitions by
4:00pm. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
