<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON ZONES 624 AND 625</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">In the upper atmosphere a ridge builds over the region. At the surface an area of high pressure pushes in from the southwest and blankets the entire Pacific Northwest by afternoon. This will suppress mixing heights and give
light transport winds to the area. Mixing heights will allow for only marginal smoke dispersal conditions. </div>

<div> OUTLOOK (FRIDAY-SUNDAY)</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">An upper trough approaches the Pacific Northwest on Friday. The surface high weakens and its center moves east allowing transport winds to pick up and become more west-southwesterly. Mixing heights improve slightly. Another
weather system moves in from the Pacific but rain should generally skirt the area to the north with only a few sprinkles into south-central Oregon. By Sunday a surface high returns for dry weather. Mixing heights remain in the marginal category through the
outlook period.</div>

<div>Mixing height 1000 - 2000 ft during the morning. Afternoon mixing height rises to 3000 - 4000 ft then lowers below 1000 ft during the evening.</div>

and variable during the morning becoming W to NW at 10 - 20 mph during the afternoon.</div>

burning within at least 35 miles in all directions of SSRAs. Recommend against burning units that will smolder significantly overnight. Complete ignitions by 4:00pm. </div>
