<div>1. DISCUSSION AND FORECAST FOR SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON ZONES 624 AND 625</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">The Pacific Northwest will be on the eastern edge of a broad upper level ridge in the eastern Pacific on Wednesday. Surface high pressure covers the region for dry weather. Expect good mixing heights but light transport winds.

<div> OUTLOOK (THURSDAY-SATURDAY)</div>

<div style="padding-left: 36pt; ">The upper ridge gets suppressed southward Thursday as a strong upper jet develops in the eastern Pacific and into central British Columbia. The surface high gets pushed southward but any rain should remain well to the north
of the region. Mixing heights stay high, though, and increased transport winds should improve smoke dispersal conditions. Friday temporary upper ridging will help produce more dry weather. Favorable mixing heights should make for good smoke dispersal conditions.
Expect more dry weather on Saturday abd smoke dispersal conditions should remain favorable</div>

<div>Mixing height 3100 - 4100 ft during the morning. Mixing height rises to above 5000 ft during the afternoon then lowers to 1000 - 1700 ft during the evening.</div>

<div>Surface wind N to NE at 10 - 18 mph during the morning and afternoon. Surface wind decreases to NNW to NE at 4 - 8 mph during the evening.</div>

and variable during the morning becoming SW to W at 4 - 8 mph during the afternoon.</div>
